I was at a winery when I saw this deck railing. I thought it was really cool because the spindles were made of rebar. It not only looks cool but it’s inexpensive to make because rebar is cheap. The cost of rebar varies because the longer the piece the cheaper it is per linear foot, and all that’s needed to cut rebar to length are bolt cutters. Concrete companies are the best places to purchase rebar. In my opinion, this is the best railing for the money. I plan to use this railing sometime in the future.

Thanks for the pic of rebar deck railings. Am building a log-style home, the framers suggested this idea and now i am trying to convince builder this would look great and not “cheap”
What about rusting?
